Another Story

Thimbles & Needles, Another Story- quilt finishes at 71x75"; Another Story quilt is made up of large hexagons and is a great design to show off your large print florals or makes a great i-Spy quilt.The pattern is suitable for confident beginners who want to develop their quilting skills further. The pattern includes tips on fabric placement, attaching quilt borders and pressing seams to reduce bulk.  The pattern is written for machine piecing but can be hand pieced if that is your preference.  The quilt on the cover is approximately 71 x 75 inches but the pattern can be easily adjusted to your required size.

Requirements include 2 1/4 yards (2m) of the background fabric which includes the outer border, 3/8 yard (35cm) for the inner border and a large assortment of prints for the hexagons.

Optional Extra

Acrylic templates will allow you to rotary cut your hexagons and triangles, saving you time and giving you accuracy. If you are hand piecing, there are registration holes to help you mark your stitching lines. Acrylic Templates include a 1/4" seam allowance.
